I like every event to be unique and special and go out of my way to find quirky and unexpected props and decor items. Especially when the birthday girl is my 8 year old!! Every year we get together around June and discuss what theme she would like for her Christmas Eve birthday. Then I start browsing and planning and shopping like mad!! Earlier in the year I had styled a Sunnylife Kids launch and that came in very handy. I always spend the day before setting up and then on the day Anisa walks in to a completed set up. The look of pure delight in her face is magic and is all the reward I need. 

The kids loved the water games entertainment planned and even though there was a summer storm, it added to all the fun!! 

Close friends Nibbles by Nadine put together the tropical graze and everyone had a ball!!!
